Age Concern on the North Shore of Auckland is partnering with Harbour Health PHO to provide free basic health checks (Warrant of Fitness) for men on Wednesday 16 June, 2.00 – 5.00pm at Birkenhead RSA. All free and no appointment necessary. A range of other health organizations will also be present to provide additional information. The Canterbury Men’s Centre is starting its effort for MHW 2010, starting on June 14th, 2010. We’ll post news about it as we go along.
We plan to work alongside the other agencies in Canty as we did last year and will have a hui in November inviting other parties to participate. The Mental Health Foundation one of the supporters for this event with Mike King supporting it as well thru his well known radio programme “The Nutters Club”.
